"Um, yeah?" Mel said, frowning. "Hard to forget. Why?"

"Ok, think of who he was talking to." Christi said, leaning forward even more and pointing a finger at her. "The voice was different - I swear it was not a Klingon. It sounded more like a Romulan, a Vulcan, a smooth-talking human, a..." she snapped her fingers trying to think of more. "I don't think an Andorian would talk that smoothly..."

Mel watched her, her expression slowly beginning to change. "...you really think it was something like that? Something like a Romulan or a Vulcan?" She began to look alarmed. "Holy crap, I didn't notice any of that."

"I just thought about it while I was thinking about his questions," Christi said, her eyes wide as she thought about it. "Which means that -" She stopped as the door to the other cell opened and several Klingons came in. "Shit."

The Klingons barked something to each other before the first one came in and grabbed Lesh'ar from Spock's bed. They were out as quickly as they were in.

"Oh, great. There he goes." Paul muttered. "One doctor down, one to go."

"Shut up Paul," Christi snapped looking out the door.

"What the hell is up with you?!" Peter demanded, glaring at her. "Lower your voice."

"Don't you dare right now Peter," Christi hissed, standing on tip-toe to look out the little cell window. "I don't listen to redshirts."

The four redshirts stared at her.

"Dammit," Rorek was hissing at McCoy in the other cell, his voice low, but still able to be heard above the silence. "They'd better bring him back here soon. They brought him in here for this, they must know that Spock needs him. I don't know what to do... he won't stop shaking."
